Clubhouse Information

The clubhouse is available to rent for personal parties for Walden Village homeowners (only).  If you have not had a chance to visit, or are new to the community, please come down and check out the facilities during a Board meeting.  The room can accommodate up to 100 people and the cost to rent the clubhouse is $150.  The fee covers the cleaning of the facility and the utilities (lights, heat, AC, water, etc. ).  Contact Chris at the Oak Ridge office- 973-697-8111 for details.

Bulk Item Dumping

Please be reminded that there is no bulk dumping of any personal items such as furniture, tires, carpeting, appliances, etc. in or around the dumpster areas.  If you need to arrange for a company to pick up your bulk items, you can contact Blue Jay Trucking at 973-827-0511, or you can bring them to the landfill off Rt. 94 in Lafayette, NJ.  The charges for the Association to remove these items has run into the hundreds of dollars, we pay the sanitation company to remove our daily garbage only,  NOT bulk items.  We are trying to keep the maintenance fees under control, we need your help to do this by complying with the rules.  Please pay to have it removed yourself or take it to the Landfill.  If you see neighbors dumping illegally, please place a phone call to the Management Office and they will handle the problem by issuing a fine.

Landscaping

Mulching will not be done this year to the planting beds, if you would like to mulch on your own, please install cedar mulch, brown or black died hardwood mulch.  Red cedar mulch should not be installed as we need to keep uniformity throughout the community.

No homeowner is permitted to remove any living trees of bushes from their property.  Permission from the Board and Management is required for any proposed changes to the exterior.

Salt buckets were collected and will be stored for the Summer and put back out prior to next Winter.

PETS

All pets must be leashed and under the control of their owners at all times.  Pet waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in one of our dumpster locations in a plastic bag, please! Dumping pet waste into the dumpster that is not contained  is unsanitary to you and your neighbors. Dogs cannot be tied up or penned up outside of the unit at any time.  Violations of our Rules and Regulations will carry fines of $25 per incident.  Please be a responsible pet owner and follow the rules!! Don't hesitate to let Management know if someone is in violation of this rule, it's your community and we are all responsible for taking care of the common area.

There is no parking allowed on the streets.  There is overflow parking areas throughout the community that can be used.  When vehicles are parked in the streets it creates a problem for emergency vehicles to service the community.  Please take advantage of our overflow parking spaces.  Vehicles that are not moved for two weeks are considered stored vehicles.
